Attorney Liu has received comprehensive professional training in medicine, law, and finance. He previously worked at Lee and Li, Attorneys-at-Law, and the Taipei branch of the U.S.-based law firm Perkins Coie. In 2000, he founded InfoShare Tech Law Offices. From 2007 to 2016, he served as an independent director of Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd.
Attorney Liu’s main areas of practice focus on investment, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property planning in the technology sector. His work includes cross-border business collaborations, corporate investments and M&A, venture capital investment and post-investment management, biomedical industry investment, joint venture establishment, technology licensing, employee stock incentive plans, general corporate legal matters, and contract negotiations. With a background in biomedical academic training and clinical experience, Attorney Liu is also committed to assisting Taiwan’s biomedical startups with entrepreneurship and investment matters.

Family Succession Law Series – Pre-emptive Renunciation of Inheritance Rights
In recent years, Taiwan folk dramas still occasionally feature scenes such as "the eldest son inherits all family property" and "daughters forced to sign statements renouncing inheritance." Korean dramas similarly depict scenarios like "patriarch designates granddaughter as sole heir, forcing other heirs to renounce inheritance." For dramatic effect, story developments are often convoluted and emotionally charged. As life imitates drama, cases where parents during their lifetime request certain children to "renounce inheritance" are not uncommon. Many children, out of obedience to parents' wishes, desire to maintain family harmony, and other reasons, immediately sign documents such as "renunciation of inheritance statements" or "renunciation of inheritance consent forms."
